e is for emmy a is for aaron. We make photographs, but you probably noticed that. We started as a historian and a map-maker who fell in love with each other and this art. We believe that photographs are like archives, they are the most precious records of our past. They are maps that lead back to who we were, where we came from, and how we have become. They tell the story of a life, a love, a family - we would like to tell yours.

Our wedding day was perfect because we are best friends and we had found each other. Now we live in the city in a little old house with our pup Honey, close to the ocean and not far from the forest. We like to search for old treasures in junk shops and for wild mushrooms in the fall. We spend Aaron’s birthday camping and Emmy’s in the snow. We have a row of old cameras above our fireplace and a stack of vintage photo albums waiting to be filled.
